Words have the power to transform, the world is different before and after “the word”. Her Voice is dedicated to my mother and is using fragments of her voice. The work is inspired from her experiences in the months before her passing away. I wish that her voice gives courage to the women who are victims of domestic violence, be it physical, psychic or emotional abuse, or financial violence, to have the courage to use their voice and say out loud what they are going through. My mother could not do it but left me her voice to make it heard.
